iPerf

Overview

This example implements the protocol used by the generic performance measurement tool iPerf. Performance can be measured between two W800 devices running this example, or between a single W800 device and a computer running the iPerf tool.

The iperf version is 3.x, but this iperf example does not support all features in the standard iperf.

Requirements

  1. A properly connected AP is required.

  2. Print ‘help’ for an overview of the command.

  3. Set up a Wi-Fi Station connection.

  4. Run iperf3 to test the throughput of UDP/TCP RX/TX.

total data rate. Default is 5 seconds)
--idle-timeout # restart idle server after # seconds in case it
got stuck (default - no timeout)
Client specific:
-c, --client <host>[%<dev>] run in client mode, connecting to <host>
                              (option <dev> equivalent to `--bind-dev <dev>`)
